1. Information we collect
We collect account and profile information, addresses, contact details, store or courier configuration, product content, orders, payments and payout metadata, messages, support requests, reviews, device and security information, and activity needed to operate the service.
2. Why we use information
We use information to create accounts, process transactions, calculate delivery options, prevent fraud, provide support, authenticate listings, operate wallets and payouts, communicate order updates, improve the platform, keep records and comply with law.
3. Sharing
We share only relevant information with transaction participants and service providers. Sellers receive order details; couriers receive fulfilment details and restricted buyer contact information when needed for delivery; payment providers receive payment or payout data; authorities may receive information where legally required.
4. Payment data
Online payments and bank verification may be handled by providers such as Paystack. AMAKET stores transaction references and payout account metadata but should not receive your card PIN, full card security code or payment OTP.
5. Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for accounts, transactions, disputes, fraud prevention and legal obligations. We use administrative and technical safeguards, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.
6. Your choices and rights
You may update profile and address information through your account and may contact us to request access, correction or deletion where applicable. Some records must be retained for transactions, security or law.
